well I went to a marvellous party…my 40th at Groucho Club

I went to a marvellous party, with Noo Noo and Na Na and Nell. It was in the fresh air and we went as famous idiots and we stayed as famous idiots which was hell The Alalabama Three started singing at midnight and they didnt stop singing till dawn and we knew the excitement was bound to begin when Tris Penna started dj'ing with dubonnet and gin and the Delevigne Girls scratched their veneer with a cartier pin and I couldn't have like it more. NAIL BAR   We all know there are loads of single mothers in the world but where? There certainly aren’t any in Winchester, mind you, ‘Winch’ is so middle class even the school girls have Cath Kidston gym bags.  Its not that I resent being a single mum, not at all, in fact I'm rather proud of my ability to erect flat pack cots, fit car seats and apply lippy all at the same time, but occasionally it would be nice not to feel like the (Laura Ashley stuffed) elephant in the room. a photo of the body will come soon…

What no one tells you.   I am proud of my naked body, I am thin, I want to walk round naked all the time, I want to take part in one of those mass naked photographs taken by the artist Spencer Tunick This comfort happened when I had my daughter Iris. I rejoiced in my body ina way I never had before. SO much so that when I was asked to do a naked photoshoot for a book called naked women of Soho I said yes without any worries.
